Hi! I’m Kera Abraham Panni (she/her). I specialize in writing and editing, strategic communications, program management, and community outreach for positive impact. Driven by my passion for our planet and people, I help clients leverage language for good. 

With long-term experience in nonprofit communications, I can help you activate a wide spectrum of audiences, from subject-matter experts and policymakers to the general public and specific communities.

In my career as a print journalist, I reported on issues at the intersection of culture and conservation, receiving multiple first-place national awards from the Society of Environmental Journalists and the Association of Alternative Newsmedia. As an editor, I helped lead a newsroom that won statewide awards for excellence.

I hold a BA in environmental science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MA in magazine journalism from the University of Oregon. I live with my family on the California coast and delight in secondhand fashion, sourdough baking, and hikes in wild places.
